Neville Jules

Born on May 21, 1927, Neville Jules is one of the most notable innovators in the steelpan community. A small selection of his inventions include the tune boom, a predecessor to the bass-pan; the Grundig pan, which became the cello, and the Cuatro pan, which became the guitar pan. Jules also founded the Trinidad All Stars Steel Orchestra in 1945.
